My sister-in-law Kim is THE most amazing photographer! Things started out rough this year for our annual family pics, due to Mariah's evil twin counterpart "Matilda" being present after we woke Mariah up from a nap to take pictures in the "freezing cold!" But Kim hung in there, and since we were delayed from waiting for Mariah to return, she was able to get some breathtaking shots of the Santaquin sunset. Thanks again Kimmy! (and you too Matilda:)

Mitt-Ten Days Old Already
My Sister Bethy wasn't able to come meet Mitt until the day before Halloween :( So she came and took some pics of us. He has already gained almost a pound from when we left the hospital! Atta boy Mitt! We are all doing GREAT! What a difference is makes to not have an episiotomy! And Mariah really is the "best big sister ever!"
Welcome Mitt Joseph Harris
After the first 19 hours of medication-free hideously painful labor, I was sitting pretty waiting the last 3 hours for my son to FINALLY join our family!
Born October 20, 2010 at 9:59 pm. Weighed 7 pounds and was 19 inches long. He was born at 37 weeks and 2 days, and came on my dad's birthday and the date I wanted him to come(10/20/2010- a numeric palendrome). We Love this boy!

Hiking Mt. Timpanogos
For Mother's Day 2010 Ben made a coupon book for me which he soon learned to regret. One of the coupons promised "one date of choice." Immediately I thought, "This is it: my one and only chance to corner Ben into hiking Timp with me!" See, I have been BEGGING Ben for years to do this 14.2 mile round trip hike to the second highest peak in all of Utah. Maybe you don't know, but historically Ben hasn't been huge into "getting sweaty" for the better part of our marriage, let alone commit to a hike most people require 8 to 10 hours to complete. Well, the past several months he has been running (often with me) twice a week as well as playing basketball once a week. He is in great shape and I knew he could handle the hike. So we planned to do it during the summer, and kept delaying it until it could be delayed no more if I was to avoid going into labor on the top of a mountain. So the last Saturday in September, Ben and I began the hike at 6 am. It took a little over 3 hours to summit, and at the top we started talking to 2 men who turned out to be brothers of one of my very good middle school friends; Nate Lambert. After a good chat, we took a little under 3 hours to get back to our truck. At 34 weeks pregnant, I got a lot of comments from fellow hikers when they looked down at my baby bump! I loved spending the time with just Ben (and Mitt) and am so glad Ben is a man of his word!
Bear Lake
We were lucky enough to go on one last vacation before Mitt joined our family. We went to Bear Lake with my sis Katie and her husband BJ and their 2 kiddos as well as there friends Matt and Kelly and their 2 kids. We had a blast hanging out in the cabin and on the boat and watching the kids play and beautiful runs by the lake every morning. One of my favorite things we did was go to the Piccadilly (I think?) Playhouse for dinner and a show. We loved it!
My Girl
Ben cleared off all the pics from his phone so here are some of my cute Mariah...
Going to "Fancy Nancy Night" at the Lehi library. We had so much fun together learning about constellations (which Mariah remembers) and getting M dressed up in her fanciest clothes. I love Lehi!
At Lowes on one of many trips as we finished Mitt's nursery and Mariah's new playhouse under the stairs.
One of her favorite dresses we got at the DI as well as crimped hair using the crimper my friend got for us at the DI. Mariah and I love finding "treasures" together at that place!
At the new Trafalga in Lehi. M is free for a couple more weeks, so we just go and hang out and ride all the rides for absolutely nothing! Again, I love Lehi:)
At the end of the summer, Mariah and I hopped on our bike together and rode up the Provo River Parkway Trail to Bridal Veil Falls. Ben drove up and met us there. What a fun adventure with my girl!
At Cabelas. We have pictures of Mariah sitting on this same moose from the time she was able to sit on him:) We love walking around Cabelas and getting a free fudge sample and sitting on her moose!
In Bear Lake. How beautiful and fun that vacation was! This girl could play in the sand all day and be completely content:)
